About Delta Web Design

Hi my name is John Connerty.

I am a self employed web designer and hosting provider trading under the name of Delta Web Design.

Prior to starting Delta Web Design I worked as a civil servant for 19 years in two Government Departments.

During 15 years in the second Government Department, I have been involved in or worked in various roles during my career as a:

• Database Designer and Programmer
• Web/Intranet Designer
• Web Programming
• Web and Office Solution Developer
• Microsoft Office User Specialist
• IT Support

As a whole, I have over 21 years collective IT and Web experience. I create static and dynamic (database driven) sites using traditional methods (HTML, XHTML, CSS, Flash, PhP, MySQL and associated scripting languages) along with CMS applications, such as Joomla, Wordpress, Drupal and several others.

I have developed sites for new business start-ups, sole traders, partnerships and small to medium enterprises. Additionally, I have created sites for charities, community support groups,  individuals and other groups (local football teams).
